A long overdue addition to Nike Chi's social network is Instagram, launched in summer 2017. The brand team and I spent over 6 months strategizing and pitching to higher leadership for the necessity of an Instagram presence here in the Windy City. This was a new challenge for me— I admittedly wasn't great at the whole social media game. But I learned quickly about audience, reach, influencers, and all the relevant buzzwords combining to make the platform so vital to Nike's target consumers.
